I understand that at the last [Avalonm] city council meeting a moratorium on issuing vacation rental permits was proposed. As a property owner in the City of Avalon for the past 14 years, (Bahia Vista Condos), I would like to go on record as strongly protesting this action. I rent my condo a few months out of the year to vacationers and use it myself with my family the rest of the year. My rentors bring a lot of business into the city and make it possible for me to continue owning this property. Please let the city council know that I and many other owners strongly object to such a foolish action.
